Resource, Inc. has been engaged to assist in the search for this key position with a category leading CPG
bard processing and marketing company with over $400+ million sales and a double digit
rate of growth. This position reports to the DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS. Position is
based in a highly desirable town close to Boston, MA.

General Summary

This person is responsible for the day to day management of the Planning & Allocation function of the Retail Stores, E-Commerce, B2B, Catalog, and the RSVP channel for our D2C Division.

Position Requirements
• A BS/BA degree minimum.
• 5-10 years experience in retail, with leadership experience in a fast growing company.
• Experience in Planning, Inventory Control, Forecasting, Merchandise Mix.
• Strong PC/System skills–Excel, PowerPoint, Word, APO, COGNOS.
• Must have experience managing others.
• Must be highly organized, have proven ability to prioritize, and work effectively
independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Position Responsibilities
• Develop and provide direction to the annual merchandise plan, working closely with
Demand Planning, Forecasting, & Finance.
• Conceptualize, develop, and implement actionable reporting to benchmark and drive
the business.
• Determine store/channel assortments in conjunction with the Channel Product
Development & Marketing teams.
• Conceive and implement promotional strategy in conjunction with the D2C Product
Development & Marketing teams,
• Manage the OTB (open to buy) process and key item plans.
• Insure effective utilization of inventory through optimization of store assortments, best
in-store inventory levels, timely replenishment, and transfers between channels as
needed.
