Thomas Healy, President & Founder

Tom began his executive search career with Roth Young, a national executive search firm in Boston. After several successful years at the practice, Tom established Resource, Inc. His goal was to better serve clients and candidates exclusively within the  consumer products industry. He has accomplished this by delivering extensive market expertise and a passionate level of service and commitment to help those clients and candidates fulfill their search expectations. Tom’s straightforward approach probably comes from his childhood growing up in a Midwest state where straight talk, honesty and caring about people always came first. During the last 30 years Tom has completed over a thousand search assignments national wide and has developed a reputation for being unequivocal and fair minded. Tom’s passion for premium customer service and the dynamics of the consumer products industry were evident in his early career owning and operating restaurants, a jazz club and even a chain of delicatessens. Tom earned his Bachelors Degree from Umass Amherst in 1971.

Ed Hanafin, Executive Vice President

Ed specializes nationally in mid and senior level search with his major concentration being Executive Sales & Sales Management, Marketing and Finance. Previous to joining Resource, Inc. in 1997 Ed spent 25 years in sales management and with Procter & Gamble in the northeast region of the country. Taking his broad base of consumer knowledge forward, Ed purchased a well-known regional dairy processing company in the Boston, MA area. Within 4 years of ownership he was approached and soon after sold the business to a major dairy concern well known to the Boston and New England region. Prior to joining Resource, Inc. in 1997, Ed worked as a Recruiter for 6 years at a Boston based Executive Search firm specializing in the recruitment of Finance executives. With 38 total year’s experience in consumer markets and recruitment, Ed delivers real expertise.

Tim Healy, Vice President

Tim serves as a contingency and retained recruiter serving all areas of the consumer packaged goods industry. During his six years of service with Resource he has developed a strong understanding of the marketplace, and a straightforward approach to broadening the firms relationship base and reach. Tim is constantly investigating new ways to source top tier candidates, and to provide world-class service our clients. His main competency lies within the functional areas of Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering and Quality Assurance. Prior to joining Resource, Tim spent two years conducting outdoor marketing events for several Mountain Dew® product lines within the Rocky Mountain region of the U.S. Tim resides in South Boston with his wife Lauren. Tim is a post-graduate of the Loomis Chaffee School in 1999, and a graduate of Ithaca College in 2003.
